GIVE TO FOUNDATION FUNDS

The Community Foundation steward over 120 charitable funds, each created to meet the donor’s unique philanthropic goals and passion. Many of these funds accept donations from the public, and they are available here [link coming soon].

Donor Advised and Charitable Endowment Funds

The Community Foundation of the Brazos Valley is your trusted partner in philanthropy. We partner with donors and businesses to establish charitable endowments that provide long-term support for nonprofits and community needs. The ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of life in the Brazos Valley through the generosity of donors. Founders of the Community Foundation recognized the importance of building a strong, vibrant Brazos Valley. They recognized that pooling the professional and financial resources of the community would foster innovation and creative solutions needed to improve the quality of life for all. Over the past 20 years, civic-minded individuals, families, and organizations have done just that. The following 120+ funds reflect the varied wishes of their founders–whether the fund is a donor-advised fund or a charitable endowment, each reflects the donor’s interests. Many endowment funds provide lasting support for a charitable cause or a specific charity, while others provide the Community Foundation with flexibility to respond to the region’s ever-changing needs and seize important opportunities that arise. The following funds connect those who care with causes that matter.

The Foundation’s trustees and staff honor the intent of its donors by ensuring that grants from these funds follow the purposes expressed by each donor – both now and into the future. Anyone can donate to the following funds, except for nonprofit funds (due to the unique nature of these funds). Annual donations, memorials, and planned gifts to these funds are welcomed, valued, and appreciated.
