The Community Foundation is uniquely qualified to lead communities in stewarding the philanthropic endowments of the Brazos Valley. The Foundation’s staff and board of directors have a long-standing tradition of excellence in governance, stability and fiduciary responsibility.

Patricia has led the Community Foundation since 2014. Prior to joining the Foundation, Patricia had a 35-year career at Texas A&M University serving in several administrative positions in the Chancellor’s Office, and the offices of Vice Chancellor for Budgets and Human Resources, Vice Chancellor and Dean of, and Dean of Veterinary Medicine. A native of Austin and graduate of St. Edward’s University, Patricia earned a master’s degree in educational administration from Texas A&M University. Patricia served on numerous community boards including the Arts Council, Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra and Friends of Symphony Orchestra, Prenatal Clinic, Pink Alliance, United Way, and the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce, to name a few. Patricia and her husband live in College Station and have 2 grown children, including 2 grandsons who live in Charlotte, NC.

MEET THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Community Foundation is governed by a 15-member Board of Trustees. The Board is comprised of volunteer community leaders who serve three-year terms that are renewable.
Natalie Briaud Pine – Board Chair
A College Station native, Natalie is an advisor and managing partner of Briaud Financial Planning. She has served on numerous local nonprofit boards including the Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center, Prenatal Clinic and the Junior League of BCS.
Weldon Russell – Past Board Chair
Weldon is a shareholder with West, Webb, Albritton & Gentry where he focuses on business planning, estate planning and business transactions. He is active in the Bryan-College Station community and serves on the board of Brazos Christian School and teaches in Central Church’s children ministry.
Josh Gorbutt – Board Chair-Elect
Josh is news director of KBTX, the CBS news affiliate located in Bryan, Texas.. He joined KBTX in 2008 as a newscast director and commercial producer and rose through the ranks to serve as news director. A graduate of Sam Houston University, Josh and his family live in College Station.
Jerry Fox – Board Treasurer
Jerry serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at First Financial Bank, formerly known as The Bank & Trust. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Jerry also serves on boards of the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial and Elevate Ukraine.
Lia Zaccagnino – Board Secretary
Lia resides in Caldwell, Texas with her husband, Tony. She is an events and logistical manager and owns Caldwell Planning Services. She is a Rotarian and a past president of Caldwell Main Street Project.
